Preface
The Helpnet is here.
It has been a long and tedious journey that is finally coming to an end. I am delighted to be able to finally make The Helpnet available — for all those who want to help and become part of this unique network that provides support, advice and assistance 24/7 and enables interdisciplinary exchange. But of course also for all those who need support or are looking for help. The Helpnet should be a place where all members and visitors feel safe, protected and cared for.
No matter where and how — everyone needs help at certain points, everyone needs advice, support or just someone to talk to — no one ever needs to be ashamed of that. Therefore I have defined a specific terminology for The Helpnet: All those who offer their help here are called counsellors. All those who seek help, support or advice from them, are called clients.
Whether you have a psychological or therapeutic background or are a coach — The Helpnet offers the right place within our network of counsellors. This diversity is immensely important, as all people seeking support here are completely different in personality and have completely different needs. All cultures, all languages and also all time zones should be offered on The Helpnet — so that every person, no matter where they are, can find help.
As a “therapeutic coach” I have been able to gain a lot of experience and inspiration in very different areas over the past years. I myself come from a psychological background, but I have met many coaches, naturopaths and social workers and exchanged ideas with them. All of them have different approaches, all of them have a very specific vocabulary towards clients and patients. But they all have one thing in common: the well-being and happiness of people in the focus of their efforts. Because that is what it is all about: helping the person who asks for help. And we all know that something only works if you believe in it and trust and engage with the person you are seeking help from.
I myself found it important and interesting to make these experiences by getting involved with these other approaches in order to understand them. This helped me to grow and I was able to communicate and work even better with my clients. I wanted to do the same for my colleagues around the world — here on The Helpnet, which will also function as an interdisciplinary network. Together for the good of the clients.
Because this is all about leading people back to happiness. No matter whether in the short or long term*.
I therefore appeal to both our target groups:
- To the consultants who want to help people find satisfaction and happiness in life. Please take a few hours of your time to let The Helpnet grow and allow this unique platform — thanks to its international and interdisciplinary exchange between experts — to fully fulfil its functions.
- To the clients, i.e. people who are looking for help but may not dare it — whether out of fear, defiance or various other reasons. Don’t let your problems and worries get the better of you. “It’s okay not to be okay.” — we all have dark moments when we wish for support or a helping hand. Get the help you need and deserve — your body and mind will thank you.
Become part of the movement “A healthy and happy self”. Everyone has the right to do so and everyone should strive for it.
Over 7 billion people live together on our planet and together we should be able to contribute something good.
Together for a healthy Self. Together striving for “happiness”. Together The Helpnet.
Best regards

*Long-term therapy is not something we would like to offer here, because I think that contact is important. But this can act as a transition or as a solution if there should be something like a pandemic again.
